It was a brilliant evening of action at Chester Leisure Leagues on Thursday which saw plenty of twists and turns as we move towards the business end of the season
In the Premier League, AngelasAngels triumphed over Texas Oldham with a close score of 1-0. Thirsty Thursdays FC also showcased a fantastic performance against Barely Athletic FC, winning the match 4-2, ensuring that they remain league leaders. Both Steak and Vale Pie and Unathletico Madrid return to competitive action next week.
Meanwhile, in Division 1, Monday Night Fever narrowly outperformed AFC Vegas with a 1-0 victory. Saughall delivered an impressive offensive performance against Ch1 Fc, winning the match 4-1. Mount Your Mum were superb against Rusteze Rangers, winning4-0. Poortugal then eked out a 1-0 win against FC Polonia, in what was a tightly contested match to keep their survival hopes alive.
The stakes were high in Division 2 as well, with CBFA managing a hard-fought victory over Flintshire Fc, ending the match 2-1. The Boughton Bombers clinched a 1-0 win against Jaeger Young Boys, thanks to their tight defence. Murder On Zidanes Floor also edged out a 1-0 victory against Yellow Brick Wall. Stella Courtois and Mount Your Dad wrapped up the week with an evenly matched game ending in a 1-1 draw.
