There were plenty of twist and turns in our Chester Thursday Football League yesterday evening as teams battled for crucial points as we move towards the business end of the season. We were delighted to welcome Tea and Busquets who made their debut in the Premier League

In the Premier League, there were some astounding results. The fixture between Steak And Vale Pie and Whats The Mata ended in a goalless  draw. That gave Thirsty Thursday's the opportunity to leapfrog the current champions, they duly obliged as they beat league debutants Tea and Busquets 11-0 to move into top spot. Unathletico Madrid also edged past their namesake as they squeezed past Unathletico in 2-1 victory. Goaldiggers FC return as normal from next week!

Moving on to Division 1, Monday Night Fever had a solid performance in their 3-0 victory over Rusteze Rangers to keep their promotion hopes alive. While Sba secured an important 2-0 win against Poortugal to move three point clear of the relegation zone. AFC Vegas and Saughall also secured vital points, winning their matches 1-0 against FC Polonia and Mount Your Mum respectively.

Division 2 saw Murder On Zidanes Floor narrowly lose to CBFA 0-1 in a tightly contested match. Boughton Bombers suffered a 0-2 defeat against Mount Your Dad, whilst Flintshire FC witnessed defeat at the hands of Stella Courtois, with the match ending 0-6. Yellow Brick Wall are back as normal for their match against Flintshire FC next week!
