It was a brilliant evening of action in our Chester Thursday league which saw all teams in attendance as scheduled. We thanks all teams for their continued support and reliability as always. We were delighted to welcome Giroud Awakening who made their debut against Thirsty Thursdays!
In the Premier League, AngelasAngels emerged victorious over Tea And Busquets in a slid 6-0 win. Thirsty Thursdays FC also left their mark, defeating league debutants Giroud Awakening 5-0 to open up a crucial two point lead at the top. Unathletico Madrid secured back to back wins as they managed a narrow 1-0 victory over Steak And Vale Pie, while Goal Diggers FC delivered a very impressive 2-0 win against Whats The Mata.
Division 1 was equally competitive. Saughall pulled off a 1-0 win against fellow promotion contenders Monday Night Fever, and AFC Vegas showed why they're top of the league with a 6-0 victory over Mount Your Mum. FC Polonia and Poortugal also managed to secure wins against Sba and Rusteze Rangers respectively.
Over in Division 2, CBFA put a dent in Jaeger Young Boys promotion hopes with a superb 4-0. Flintshire Fc returned to form as they defeated Yellow Brick Wall 5-3. Stella Courtois and Mount Your Dad both claimed 2-0 victories over Boughton Bombers and Murder On Zidanes Floor.
