It was a fantastic evening of football in our Chester Thursday league with all teams in attendance a scheduled. We are delighted to have welcomed to new teams in recent weeks, both Games Set and Snatch FC and Beano FC,
In the Premier League, AngelasAngels trumped Mount Your Mum with a solid 3-1 victory, while What’s The Mata squeezed a tight 2-1 win over Goal Diggers FC to claim top spot. The standout performance, however, was Game Set And Snatch FC's emphatic 8-0 victory over Beano FC. Elsewhere, nothing could separate Monday Night Fever and AFC Vegas as they battled to a goalless draw
Meanwhile, in Division 1, Sba's 4-0 win over Colonel Getafe was the highlight, ensuring that they remain in the promotion battle. Mount Your Dad's promotion push faltered as they were held to a 0-0 draw with Unathletico Madrid. CBFA's promotion hopes were also dented as they were kept at bay by FC Polina in another score draw. Finally, neither side couldn't find a winner when Giroud Awakening and Team Nepal locked horns as they ended their match in a 1-1 draw
Over in Division 2, Flintshire FC returned to form with their 4-1 victory over Dale Barracks FC. Boughton Bomber's promotion hopes are well and truly alive as they claimed a 2-0 victory over Portsfinest to move within a point of the promotion places. Dynamos secured back to back wins with an excellent 2-1 win over promotion hopefuls Poortugal. Finally, league leaders Jurgen Slopps continued their fine from with a 3-1 victory over Rusteze Rangers.
