Title: Opening Week of Chester Thursday Football League Ensures a Thrilling Season Ahead

The first week of the Chester Thursday 7-a-side football league kicked off last night and set the pace for what promises to be an exhilarating season. We were delighted to welcome Winlift FC to the league who made their debut against Dynamos

In the Premier League division, it was a night of intense competition with teams battling fiercely against each other. A standoff between Whats The Mata and AngelasAngels resulted in a 0-0 draw, setting a suspenseful tone for the season. CBFA clinched a narrow victory against Mount Your Dad, with a solitary goal deciding the fate of the match. Equally nail-biting was the contest between Goal Diggers FC and Monday Night Fever, with the latter emerging victorious by a single goal. Sba and AFC Vegas also played out a hard-fought goalless draw.

Moving on to Division 1, Giroud Awakening claimed a 1-0 triumph over Unathletico Madrid, while Game Set And Snatch FC managed to edge past Mount Your Mum with a 2-1 scoreline. Poortugal faltered against Boughton Bombers, who impressive a 3-0 victory. A7A FC emerged as the top scorers of the week, defeating Jurgen Slopps FC by a 4-1 margin.

In Division 2, Dynamos and FC Farndon proved to be the top scorers. Dynamos beat Winlift FC in a 4-0 victory, while FC Farndon overcame Rusteze Rangers with a 5-1 win. Portsfinest and Colonel Getafe also bagged victories over Beano Fc and FC Polonia respectively.
