Play in the Grimsby Monday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

PRICE INCREASE - Effective from Monday 31st March 2025. Due to increases in the costs of centres, equipment and transactional charges all our leagues will see an increase of £3 per team per week which works out at a maximum of 50p per player for your minimum numbers or a mere 34p each if you regularly take a maximum squad of 9.

Grimsby Thursday's 6-a-side football league saw its third week of electrifying competition, with fierce battles taking place in both the Premier League and Division 1.

In the Premier League, the Sky Blue Army narrowly lost to the AMA-tures in a thrilling match, which ended 7-6. The AMA-tures showed their grit and tenacity, with a performance that displayed their ability to take the heat in a nerve-wracking contest.

In another match, the All Seasons FC struggled to keep pace with the formidable squad of THE WEDNESDAY, who claimed a decisive 5-1 victory. WORKS UNITED and Champagne Super Rovers demonstrated their attacking prowess in a 5-4 thriller, with WORKS UNITED coming out on top. Lastly in the Premier League, Not So Hotspur narrowly lost to Breakaways FC, with the latter securing a 4-3 win.

Following suit, Division 1 saw its fair share of twists and turns. Nemesis FC couldn't match the dynamism of RLL FC, with the latter team taking home an overwhelming 10-1 victory. PG On 3G demonstrated their defensive capabilities, shutting out Good Vibes Only with a solid 3-0 win.

Bennerz FC and ONLY FOOLS AND WANDERERS also notched 3-0 victories, showing their superiority against Loverboys FC and INTER STELLA, respectively. Their strong performances have sent a strong signal to the rest of the teams in the division.

While individual top scorers were not disclosed, these matches were filled with stellar performances. The league is shaping up to be an exciting contest, with teams in both divisions demonstrating their skills and the will to win. Fans are eagerly waiting for next week’s fixtures, hoping for another round of thrilling football.
