The Grimsby Tuesday 6-a-side Football League’s fifth week kicked off last night, and the competition was ferocious across both the Premier League and Division 1.

In the Premier League, Edogs Army took control of their game against Six On The Beach, winning with a comprehensive 8-3 result. The Law Abiding Sigurdssons were also victorious in their match against Whipping And Bagging, scoring two more goals to secure a 5-3 win. V-Heat FC, meanwhile, completely dominated their opponents Leroys FC, shutting them out with an 8-0 victory.

Switching to Division 1, Mutton Army showed their prowess on the pitch, defeating Saka Spuds 8-3. Artells Cartel had a robust defensive showing against TP OT, winning 3-0. The match between Pathetico Madrid and YMCA Allstars was the most thrilling of the night, with YMCA Allstars coming from behind to win 7-4. In the final game of the night, Showmethemane narrowly edged out Rosa Parks The Bus FC 3-2 in a nail-biter.

While every game had its standout players, the top scorers of the evening were undoubtedly from Edogs Army and Mutton Army, who scored eight goals each in their respective divisions.
