In a thrilling week of football action, the 13th week of the Colchester Wednesday 6-a-side Football League saw some exciting matches and surprising results. The competition showcased the talents of local teams, each vying to top their respective divisions - Premier League and Division 1.

In the Premier League division, Gorski Eagles secured a narrow victory over Alresford Vets, clinching the match by 1-0. It was a night of hotly contested 3-1 matches as Handball outperformed FC United Nations and Old Mercenaries showed their experience, beating You Should Have Seen Us 15 Years Ago. OutLawz also scored a 3-1 victory over Real Tey.

Over in Division 1, Hamilton Dads battled it out with Castle Lions, edging them out in a close 2-1 match. Kaizen FC maintained their form with a solid 2-0 win over Gobble Gang, while GRFC dominated their game against Chesterwell FC, finishing with a convincing 6-1 victory. Uber Groovy managed to edge out Old Saints United 3-2 in another close contest, and Tiptree Heath Vets FC secured an impressive 6-1 triumph over Tey Old Fellas.

In terms of individual performance, the top scorers of the week were undoubtedly the forwards from GRFC and Tiptree Heath Vets FC, who contributed significantly to their respective teams' victories in Division 1. In the Premier League division, the players from Handball, Old Mercenaries, and OutLawz showcased fine form with each team netting three goals.
