Colchester Wednesday's 6-a-side Football League served up another thrilling week of matches in its third round, with teams from the Premier League, Division 1 and Division 2 divisions taking to the field in hot pursuit of victory.

In the Premier League, OutLawz narrowly defeated FCC VETS in a spectacular 4-3 clash, while Handball triumphed 4-2 over Tiptree Heath Vets FC. But the most nail-biting contest of the day was between Real Tey and Gorski Eagles, with Real Tey ultimately sealing a close 2-1 victory.

Over at Division 1, the fixtures saw a mix of high-scoring thrills and competitive close games. Chesterwell FC claimed a 5-3 victory over Wegaveitago, while Uber Groovy fell 2-5 to the veterans of You Should Have Seen Us 15 Years Ago. In the mean time, GRFC clinched a neck-and-neck battle against Old Mercenaries, winning 3-2.

In Division 2, Old Saints United dominated their match against Castle Lions, scoring an impressive 7-2 victory. Hamilton Dads, however, couldn't find their footing, falling 0-3 to Gobble Gang.

While every team showed spirit and determination, the standout individual performances came in the form of top scorers from each division. In the Premier League, OutLawz's striker truly shone, while Chesterwell FC's forward proved to be the star player in Division 1. Over at Division 2, the Old Saints United's main man was unstoppable, scoring the most goals in their division.

As we head into week 4, every point matters as teams vie for the top of their respective divisions. Fans and players alike eagerly await the next round of matches, poised for more top-tier 6-a-side action.
