6 A SIDE NORTHERN GATEWAY COLCHESTER CONTINUES TO BE A SUCCESS WITH ALL TEAMS IN ATTENDANCE – WEEK 4
WEEKLY ROUND UP
The Northern Gateway 6 a side premier league has three league leaders all on 8 points, successfully wining their 3 opening games; Mersea Misfits, Cowboys United and Nottinyourmumsforest. In contrast, 3 teams have failed to gain a point and remain at the bottom of the league; Hatrick Swayze, Expected Toulouse and Greyhound Athletic. The Northern Gateway 6 a side Division 1 league has two league leaders on 8 points, successfully winning their 2 opening games; 2 teams remain at the bottom of the league with zero points; Mavericks and Unorthodox. There are still 14 fixtures to play this season, so all is still to play for! The first season is always tough for some teams, but the next season will decide who should be in the premier and division 1. This will allow teams to have a fairer contest with their opposition.

NEXT SEASON
Next season we will be growing the Thursday 6 a side Northern Gateway league into 3 x divisions, so exciting times ahead!
RULES
The introduction of throw-ins has received very positive feedback from teams, therefore we will continue with this rule for the remainder of the season.
FAILURE TO FIELD A TEAM
Should you be unable to field a team you are required to let us know at least 7 days in advance of your fixture, this will prevent you being charged the full fixture fee. Informing us on the day of fixture is poor team captain administration, which can lead to your opposition not having a game! Therefore, you are advised to liaise with all your players a month in advance of your planned fixtures. Please visit our TERMS & CONDITIONS for more information.
PARKING
Please be reminded that all car drivers are required to enter their car registration details onto the IPAD system located in the main building. This only takes 1 minute to complete however failure to complete will result in a fin being issued from the car parking company – DON’T GET CAUGHT OUT!
FIXTURE FEES
Please be reminded that all fixture fees need to paid by no later than 5pm on the day of your planned fixture. DON’T PAY, DON’T PLAY.
GOAL SCORER NAMES
From this point forward Team Captains are to give their goal scorer names to either the Referee, or the Match Night Manager. If you forget to do this, you will not be able to request this at a later date.
