Play in the Birmingham Friday Veteran’s Over 35s football league powered by Leisure Leagues


In the world of local football, the second week of the Birmingham Friday 6-a-side league ended with some electrifying matches and stunning displays of skill. The Premier League and Division 1 witnessed fierce competition between determined teams and standout individual performances.

In the Premier League, Total Football narrowly overcame Boca Seniors 2-1, marking their victory in a hard-fought match. These two points could be crucial come the end of the season for Total.

West Heath United, on the other hand, registered a resounding 7-0 win over Soccer PM, making a strong statement of their championship aspirations once again for this season


The star of the Premier League this week was undoubtedly Elliott Nash of West Heath United, who shone bright with an impressive four-goal tally, leading the division's scoring charts and also the game’s MVP award

In Division 1, the Braz Boys FC made their mark in a spectacular fashion by thrashing Brasilia Vets 18-0. Tired Tigers edged out Last Legs FC in a close 2-1 encounter, displaying great resilience. Meanwhile, Fake Madrid emerged victorious against Could Get Messi, ending the match with a score of 5-1.


Luis took home the MVP for Bras Boys, Duwayne for Fake Madrid and an inspired goal keeping performance secured the Most Valuble Player award for Meisam for Tired Tigers.

The second week of this exciting local football league has undoubtedly set the stage for some thrilling action in the upcoming weeks. The teams will certainly be looking to build on their performances and climb up the league tables.
