In the world of local football, the Rubery Tuesday 6-a-side league continued with its twelfth week of thrilling action. Despite the low temperatures, the teams in the Premier League division turned up the heat on the field, providing a night of high drama and memorable goals.


In an impressive display of football skills, Chance Taken dismissed Wheezy Wanderers FC with a 3-1 victory. Another good result for the new look Chance Taken, as they look to make their mark on this season

In another tight encounter, Chasers81120 FC narrowly edged out The Hustlers with a 1-0 win, demonstrating their tactical prowess and resilient defence.

However, the most striking performance of the night came from South Side, who obliterated When The Fun Stops, Deposit with a 6-0 blowout. Their sharpshooters were extraordinary, completely dominating the game. Leading the charge for South Side was none other than MCCOY, who displayed a masterclass in goal scoring, netting three times in the match. MCCOY now stands as the top scorer of the Premier League division, a testament to his exceptional talent and contribution to his team.

In the night's subsequent games, Pique Blinders FC managed to clinch a narrow 3-2 victory against SHE WAS ONLY XI in a contest that had spectators on the edge of their seats to keep the pressure on the top as Bumblebees couldn’t field a team tonight, so Depay were awarded the win

Meanwhile, Ronnie Pickermings were left licking their wounds as they suffered a crushing 0-8 defeat to Grafters.
