The Rubery Tuesday 6-a-side Football League made an electrifying start this week with the Premier League division teams taking center stage. The season's inaugural matches saw some impressive performances and provided an exciting glimpse of the thrilling competition to come.
In a showcase of intense football action, Pique Blinders FC made a remarkable entry, trouncing their opponents SHE WAS ONLY XI with a commanding 6-1 victory. Their offensive might was powered by none other than the league's top scorer of the week, Thomson, who netted a whopping five goals as the reigning champions took revenge for last seasons loss

Joining Pique Blinders FC on the winners podium were Who Ate All Depay, who gave an exceptional performance defeating BAASNM BumbleBees 10-1 in a highly entertaining encounter. The Bumblebees only had 4 of their own players so will look to bounce back next week

Selly Oak Swans FC also started the season on a high note, taking down Ronnie Pickermings with a solid 7-2. Pickermings will also look to re set next week with a full team

Other matches saw some closely contested battles. Although Wheezy Wanderers FC narrowly beat Chance Taken 2-0, The Hustlers and Chasers81120 FC battled to a 2-2 draw, showing the depth of competition in the league.
Opoku and Dimitri were the MVPs for Wheezy and Chasers respectively
The football fireworks continued with South Side and Club Tropicana, who fought out an evenly matched 4-4 draw which was great to watch for the neutral
