New season starts at Newton Abbot Monday 6 a side

We kicked off the new season at our Newton Abbot Monday 6 a side league last night with all teams in attendance. 

Newton Wanderers will be looking to mount a title challenge this season and they got off to a flyer with an 11-0 win over Murder On Zidane's Floor, Callum Noyce scoring 7 times for his side to send last season's runners up to the top. Six Offenders are second as they won 7-3 against FC Fairways, Elliot Simson scoring a hat-trick along with braces from last seasons top scorer Josh Haynes and Billy Courtier. Finally Fiorentina Turner produced a solid display to win against new boys Ourheat Un-athletic 2-0.

Thank you to Steve for running the night, he has reported that the lights seems to be going off earlier. I have been in touch with the venue this morning and they are adjusting them slightly so hopefully this will come into effect next week, if not I will be onto them again. Thanks Rich 07969 731086.
