Newton Abbot 5 a side round up!

All teams were in attendance for match day four at our Newton Abbot 6 a side league at Coombeshead Academy. There were three cracking games on an excellent night of football. Here's a look at the results:

PREMIER LEAGUE

Newton Wanderers turned up with a strong side to take on leaders Six' Offenders. As expected it was a tight game and goals were exchanged at both ends before settling for a point each after a 2-2 draw. FC Fairways took full advantage as they took on and beat bottom side Faze Soccer Killers, however it wasn't easy, grinding out a 5-3 win. Dan Wells grabbing a hat-trick for FC Fairways while a special mention for Joe Lunnon of Faze Soccer Killers, scoring the goal of the night. Beckwith's Ballers gained their first win in the league as they put in a solid performance to beat AFC Turkey 2-0 in a very tight game to complete our round up.
