Newton Abbot Monday 6 a side End Of Season review

Firstly thank you to all our captains, players and of course Steve for running the evening down at Coombeshead Academy. Our Newton Abbot Monday 6 a side season came to an end last night, unfortunately Hotel Thiago weren't able to fulfil their last fixture but we have a new team coming in to replace them for the start of the new season next week.

Congratulations to our Premier League Champions Newton Wanderers who regained the title after a third place finish last time out. They rounded off a great season with a 9-4 victory against FC Fairways, the league's top scorer Ben Berrow with 5 goals to make it 19 for the season. Spartans finished one point behind and ended the season with a 9-0 win over new boys AFC Turkey, Ellis Rattue with 4 goals to cap another great performance. Six Offenders picked up a 5-0 points match win with Thiago not in attendance to finish two points adrift of the champions. The MVP award goes to Ellis Rattue for 6 man of the match performances this season.
