Newton Abbot Monday 6 a side match night round up!

It was a somewhat mixed night at our Newton Abbot Monday 6 a side with a team not showing up unfortunately, which is thankfully a very rare occurrence at the league. On a brighter note we still had two important league games taking place, there is also now a spot in the league for a new team to join from next week.

Newton Wanderers extended their lead at the top of the table to two points with an important 5-0 win over Six Offenders, Ben Berrow with a hat-trick for the leaders. Reigning champions Spartans are now their closest challengers as they had Billy Bristow to thank for a brace in their 3-1 away win against FC Fairways. Hotel Thiago picking up the points with Zidane's not attending.

Thank you to Steve for running the night, Steve is off on a well earned holiday next week so Wayne will be stepping in to cover the league.
