The action did not disappoint on the pitch last night in Week 6 of the Newton Abbot Monday 6-a-side football league. The Premier League saw some intense competition, with Furzey's Dream Team and Kings Arms AFC emerging as the week's dominant forces.

PREMIER LEAGUE

In a standout performance, Furzey's Dream Team triumphed over reigning champions Newton Wanderers with a convincing 4-1 victory to stretch their lead at the top to 3 points. A notable contribution to this victory was the impressive offensive prowess of Luis Green, who topped the scoring charts for the division this week with a brace. His swift footwork and precision in front of goal proved too much for the Wanderers' defence to handle.

Maintaining the momentum in the Premier League, Kings Arms AFC squared off against Dyslexia Untied FC in a thrilling match. Kings Arms AFC secured their victory with a final score of 3-1. The star player of the night was Kings Arms AFC Thomas Beer. Beer, who was named the most valuable player of the week, showcased his skills with precision passing, tactical vision, and an overall outstanding performance that earned him his title.
