Newton Abbot Monday 6 a side results!

On a sad week for the country we held a minutes silence as a mark of respect for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II before our Newton Abbot Monday 6 a side league got underway.

There was a big game at the top of the table as reigning champions Spartans edged a tight game with leaders Newton Wanderers to win 3-2. The victory see's Spartans go level on points with Wanderers with 2 games left to play. Six Offenders aren't out of it either as they picked up a 5-0 points match win with a space in the league due to Zidane's vacating. The other match saw Hotel Thiago seal a 5-2 home win against FC Fairways.

Thank you to Paul for stepping in while Steve enjoys a bit of time off and reffing the evening. There will be no league next week due to the Queen's funeral so we will return to action on the 26th September. Thanks Rich
