NEWTON ABBOT MONDAY 6 A SIDE SEASON GETS UNDERWAY!

The Newton Abbot Monday league kicked off its season with an array of exhilarating matches, leaving us on the edge of our seats. On the first week of the season, the Premier League saw some thrilling encounters that have set a high bar for the coming weeks.

PREMIER LEAGUE

In a closely contested match, Expected Toulouse narrowly defeated Kings Arms AFC with a 3-2 scoreline. The thrilling game saw some excellent football and us eagerly anticipating the rest of the season.

Champions Newton Wanderers and Beckwiths Ballers ended in a 1-1 draw, in a match that showcased some well-coordinated team play and strategic prowess from both sides. The evenly matched teams left the pitch with honours even, promising a very competitive Premier League season.

The game between Dyslexia Untied FC and Furzeys Dream Team was a one-sided affair. Furzeys Dream Team demonstrated their dominance over the field with a resounding 7-0 victory, a few new signing this season make them one of the title favourites. Leading the charge was Kobi Hughes, who netted 3 for Furzeys, thereby topping the Premier League division's scoring chart for the week, also on the scoresheet were new signing Owen and Luis Green plus Ben Berrow.

Billy Turvey of Beckwiths Ballers was declared as the most valued player of the week. His performance, combining skill and technique, bolstered the Ballers, contributing to their commendable performance. Turvey’s unwavering presence in this crucial first week of competition has set a high standard for the rest of the season.

The first week of the Newton Abbot Monday league has set a thrilling pace. As the season progresses, we look forward to seeing more of this fierce competition, strategic gameplay, and individual brilliance.
