Results round up from Newton Abbott Monday 6 a side

Thank you to all our teams down at our Newton Abbott Monday 6 a side league at Coombeshead Academy. Firstly I'm Rich and have just taken over the organisation of the league along with my colleague Rob from Stuart. Steve will of course remain in charge on match nights to run and ref the evening. I have taken over a number of leagues from Stuart so it will take me a bit of time to ring round all captains but I will do my best over the next few weeks.

So onto last night results. I can see that as we approach the end of the current season next week that it's a two horse race for the title with Six Offenders and Murder On Zidane's Floor battling it out for the top prize.  Six Offenders currently sit top of the table with a point advantage with both teams winning last night. Offenders with a fairly comfortable 7-1 win over FC Fairways while Zidane's were pushed all the way by Newton Wanderers before winning 6-4. The big title decider comes next week when the two teams meet. Unfortunately Fiorentina Turner paid for their fixture but couldn't make it at late notice but will be back next week, Btec Dons picking up a 5-0 points match win.
