Well it was certainly another wet and windy night down at our Cowes Tuesday 6 a side league last night however as normal all 8 teams turned out to brave the conditions along with our refs who come out without fail each week! Much appreciated!
At the top of the table it was business as usual for Vectis FC who reach the halfway point of the season with a 100% record and a two point lead at the top. This week they defeated Expected Toulouse 10-1 which included a hat-trick from Aaron Shephard. Realsosobad remain in second after coming through a difficult match with Notting Your Mums Forest to secure a narrow 2-1 win to keep their title hopes alive. Leigh Mckenzie went goal crazy against Ryde Saints with an excellent double hat-trick as Northwood Nobbers won 7-2. Finally there was a hard fought victory for AFC Sleaze as they beat Pique Blinders 2-0 to move up to 4th.
Thank you to all teams and see you next week, lets pray for better weather!
