Great to see all our teams out in Cowes again last night, such a great league and it's looking tight at the top still with just 3 points separating the top 4 teams.
Just in front with a strong goal difference of 47 are Old Guns who did that goal difference no harm with a thumping win over Rack Jussell FC. Josh Tombleson netted 5, Billy Chugg 4 and Sam Williams 3 as they put away 15 without reply.
St Mary's are 2nd and they also kept a clean sheet this week while scoring 6 themselves to stay right with the leaders. Callun George registered a hattrick to take his season tally to 16 while Remi Rees also chipped in with two. Ice Island are just a point off the pace having come away with the points from a 6 - 3 win over Leaping Lords and it was the same score line for Notting Your Mum's Forest in their win against All Sorts, Liam Slaven grabbing 4 in the process to keep his team comfortable in 4th place.
Big thanks to Callum, Chris and Steve for running the show on the night and to all the captains for being ready to go as always. Week 10 will be a cracker as the top two go head to head, who will be top of the league this time next week ? Can't wait to find out !
