It was week 6 of our fantastic Tuesday night 6 a side league at Cowes Enterprise college last night as our teams sweated out the Bank Holiday alcohol in style. We had some great games this week with Millennials Plus being held to a 1 - 1 draw by Pique Blinders, both teams looking to their captains for the goals this week as Rob Aubrey and Elliot Bracken-Lamb got on the score sheet in a really tight game. Old Guns bounced back from defeat last week to pick up a 3 - 1 win over Diverse Cowboys, Jack Davies and Tony Howard on target for the former 4 time champions while current title holders and table toppers St Marys went about their business in destructive style, putting 13 goals past Baines on Toast. Macca got 4, backed up by hattricks from Duncan Miller and Adam. Jarred Fisher registered 2 for Baines and Ryan Saltzer chipped in with 1 but it was mostly one way traffic in this one. A Ben Colder hattrick was the major feature in the win for Victor Moses Lawn as they did just enough to take home the points from their match with Khedira Pin Drop. It finished 7 - 5 with 2 goals from Michael Jenkins in vain for Khedira who are still searching for their 1st points of the campaign.
So its St Marys from Old Guns still at the top of the table and Khedira and Baines on Toast that prop up the table after 6 weeks of action, there is lots of jostling for positions to be done in the middle of the table im sure so it's looking like a good season in Cowes again, have a great week guys.
