COWES TUESDAY 6 A SIDE

The final games of 2021 in our Cowes 6 a side league took place last night as we head into the festive break now. We will be back in action on Tuesday 4th January with the usual rush of new teams looking to sign up no doubt not far behind. This league is currently full but if you want to enter a team you can join the waiting list for £10 and this will also cover your 1st game when a space in the league becomes available. Get in now and be near the top of that list!

So to the games last night, we saw a comprehensive win for Notting Your Mum's Forest as they put 15 past Rack Jussell FC who to their credit did score 4 of their own, Ice Island had a points win as All Sorts couldn't get there and Old Guns maintained their place at the top of the table after a tight game with St Marys, winning 5 - 4 in the end thanks to a hattrick from Billy Chugg. Finally we had a debut in the league for Grease Monkeys who put in a great performance to start with a 2 - 1 win over Pique Blinders. 

Thanks to Callum and Chris for doing an amazing job a man down last night, thanks also to the players who helped to round up the footballs. 

So that's it for this year, we hope you all have a brilliant Christmas and New Year break and we look forward to getting back to it on the 4th Jan to burn off a few of those mince pies !
