Cowes Tuesday 6 a side news 2023-05-30

Our hugely popular Isle of Wight league in Cowes held its first week of the brand new 6 a side football season last night, and what a thrilling start it was! We welcomed new side Balti Boys to the top flight in place of Victor Moses Lawn for their debuts while all our other teams took part in last seasons brilliant campaign. 

The Premier League saw four matches taking place, with each team giving their best to win in their respective games. St Mary's managed to secure a 3-1 victory against Balotelli-tubbies, while The Balti Boys started well with a 5-0 win against Chewbacca The Net. Freshly promoted How I Met Your Mata triumphed with a 6-0 win over Pique Blinders, and Man Chest Hair Utd won a close match against Old Guns with a score of 4-3.

In Division 1, four matches were played, with Diverse Cowboys dominating Touch Matip with a score of 5-1. Fill Her Wycombe also put on an impressive performance, winning 4-0 against Robbin Ma Koch. The match between One Inch Wanders FC and Hit The Wheel FC ended in a 2-2 draw, while Millersmayhems took a decisive win over Iow Inbreds with a score of 5-1.

So the league's new season is off to a fantastic start, with great performances from all teams. Big thanks to our officials on the night, Calum, Jukesy and Pete.
