Cowes Tuesday 6 a side news - match day 17

In week 17 of the Cowes Tuesday 6-a-side the players offered a spectacle of goals in some exciting games. 

PREMIER LEAGUE

In a nail-biting encounter, Mo's Salads managed to edge past Baines On Toast with a narrow win of 2-1. Despite the loss, Luke Warde from Baines On Toast emerged as the standout player of the week with his impressive performance, earning him the title of 'Most Valued Player'. His skillful play and determination have been noted as a silver lining in an otherwise tough match for Baines On Toast.

Studs On Grass dominated Dragons Fire Utd with a remarkable 9-2 victory, proving their dominance in the division and showing their scoring prowess. In another high scoring game, Chewbacca The Net overcame Lads On Toure with an 8-4 win, a match that was marked by the outstanding performance of Callum Bowen Clarke.

Clarke, a player for Chewbacca The Net, scored a total of 6 goals, topping the chart as the leading goal scorer in the Premier League this week. His performance was a key contribution to his team's victory, and his goal tally surely strengthens his position as one of the top players in the division.

Another noteworthy match was between Vectis Road Ultras and Balotelli-tubbies, where the latter emerged victorious with a 6-3 win. A minute silence was observed before kick off as a mark of respect after the sad passing of Graeme Bast who played for Balotelli-tubbies in our Cowes league and also for Ivory Toast at Ryde, he will sorely missed by so many in island football.
