We had a great night of 6 a side last night in Cowes as one of our most popular Isle of Wight leagues saw off week 3 in style.
St Marys took over at the top of the league following their 7 - 4 win over Millennials Plus. Joe Bone on target with 3 for St Marys. Old Guns dropped a rare point at the hands of a battling Baines on Toast side, Rowen Churchill's goal cancelling out the early strike from Billy Chugg. Grease Monkeys put 4 past She Said She Was X1 without reply, 2 good strikes from Ben Brodie and a couple for captain Ryan Salter enough to secure a good win for their side. In another tight and competitive game we saw Pique Blinders edge past Vectis Academy FC 3 - 2, goals from Kieran Young, Alfie Tanner and Jamie Stinton doing the damage for Pique.
So we head to week 4 with the league starting to take shape, thanks to Calum and Jukesy for reffing the night and to the captains for being organised with their teams.
Good luck next week guys.
