New season at Cowes Tuesday 6 a side

COWES TUESDAY 6 A SIDE ROUND UP

Rob is away this week so I'll try and cover things as best I can. It's great to see the majority of teams were in attendance for the start of the new season at our extended Cowes Tuesday league. Only two teams weren't in attendance on Valentine's day so not bad, you've got to get your football in first. Anyway here's a look at all the results:

PREMIER LEAGUE

Champions Unreal Madrid got their title defence off to a winning start as they won 5-1 against newly promoted Div 1 champions Baines On Toast. The early league leaders are Pique Plinders who ran out 13-0 winners against another one of the promoted side Robbin Ma Koch, the step up proving tricky on the opening night for the Premier League newbies. Touch Matip picked up a 5-0 win with DBS away while Adam Bartlett hit a hat-trick for St Marys as they won 5-1 against Old Guns.

DIVISION ONE

Jack Davies scored seven times as How I Met Your Mata proved to strong for Hit The Wheel, beating them 17-1 to go top of Div 1. Chewbacca The Net are second after a 5-0 win due to Victor Moses Lawn not being in attendance. Oscar Grant was on target four times for Diverse Cowboy's as they won 7-3 away at One Inch Wanders while the tightest game of the night saw Fill Her Wycombe win 1-0 against Millersmayhems.
