OLD GUNS CHAMPIONS at Cowes Tuesday 6 a side

CONGRATULATIONS to OLD GUNS who are crowned this seasons Champoins at Cowes. It's been a fantastic season for them, picking up 26 out of a possible 28 points and registering a positive goal difference of 64. Runners up are Ice Island, just 4 points behind and Notting your Mums Forest finish 3rd ahead of All Sorts on goal difference.

Both the top two signed off the season with wins, Old Guns top scorer Billy Chugg netted 3 in their 4 - 1 win over Pique Blinders while Ice Island ran riot over Rack Jussell, 8 from Aarun Ince and 3 from Jordan Whittle in the 14 - 1 win.

St Mary's finished strongly with an 8 - 4 win over Notting Your Mums Forest, Callum George and Rhys helping themselves to a hat-trick each. Expected Toulouse couldn't break their duck and finished the season bottom, they suffered an 8 - 1 defeat in their final game in the league with 4 from Max Foreman and 2 from Nick Chessell doing the damage for All Sorts FC who finish 4th.

We role straight into the new season next week with one space to fill in the league following Expected Toulouse's withdrawal. The good new is that a new team are entering so we are back up to 8, just a shame we can't get more time as other teams are wanting to join.

Congratulations to Aarun Ince of Ice Island who finished the season as top goalscorer with 32 goals while Ice Island captain Leon Stokes picked up the league Most Valuable Player award with 8 man of the match performances. Old Guns will have their trophies and medal ordered along with the individual award from Leon and Aarun along with all being entered into the Leisure Leagues prize draw for a chance to win something else.

Thank you to all our teams who have taken part this season at Cowes and to our supervisors and refs Calum, Jukesy, Reece, Steve and Nick over the course of the season, see you all next week. Good luck next season!!!
