OLD GUNS CHAMPIONS OF COWES AGAIN

Congratulations again to Old Guns who pick up another league title at Cowes, finishing with 27 points, 6 clear of St Mary's in 2nd place. It was a challenging season with a few spaces in the league early on but with those gaps all filled now we can look forward to a new season with excitement as the newer teams now get to start from scratch and see how high up the table they can finish. 

Old Guns wrapped up the season with another win, despite missing captain Billy Chugg through injury they were too strong for a spirited Millenials Plus side, the game finishing 5 - 1 to the champions. St Marys benefited from Ice Island not being available, taking a 5 - 0 win to leapfrog their opponents into 2nd place. Ice Island falling away once their title chances were over. They have now decided to leave the league and will be replaced by a new team from the waiting list. Vectis Academy FC will be raring to go for the start of the new season and we wish them luck in their 1st season with us. 

Pique Blinders won the battle for 4th spot against Grease Monkeys, edging a good game 4 - 2 in the end. She Said She Was X1 and one of the new teams that will be pleased to have a fresh start having joined the season late, they finish at the foot of the table having been beaten 1 - 0 by Baines on Toast who were under the new management of Rhys for the 1st time last night. The re-branded Khedira side finishing the season in 6th place. 

Jordan Whittle of Ice Island wins the golden boot this season after bagging an incredible 59 goals while Billy Chugg claims the leagues MVP award for his 7 MotM awards. 

Well played to all the winners this season and thank you to all our teams for being a part of the season, as mention already the new season starts next week so please be ready, the fixtures will be out very soon.
