We were finally back at Cowes Tuesday 6 a side last night after what has felt like a mini lockdown not playing for a couple of weeks to support England.
Old Guns weren't in a charitable mood though on their return as they won 15-0 against a depleted Expected Toulouse side. Billy Chugg scoring 6 while Josh Tombleson and Ross Lacey both banged 4 each with Joe Williams making an appearance outfield firing in the other one. Ice Island remain two points behind the leaders as they won an entertaining match against St Mary's 7-5. Aaron Ince and Jordan Whittle both scored hat-tricks to add to Fin Phillips goal. Josh Tillbrook scored a hat-trick in reply for St Marys along with strikes from captain Duncan Miller and Kieran.
The other two matches were tight with both ending in score draws. Notting Your Mum's Forest and Pique Blinders drew 2-2. Goalscorers for Forest were from Ryan Gardner and Dean Attrill while Charlie Butt and Oliver Fautley scored for Blinders who picked up their first point of the season. There were even more goals in the other match as Your Mum's Agbonlahor and Ashton Villa II drew 4-4. Callum Pye is on the goal trail at Cowes now as he scored a hat-trick for Villa with Jake Symes also scoring. Tom Brownrigg and Luke Rowland hit doubles for Agbonlahor.
Thank you to all 8 teams. Also thank you to Calum and Chris for reffing the night and Jamie for helping out with the balls and setting up, I was supposed to be over but out for a few weeks with an ankle injury unfortunately. Now Come On England!!
