Ryde Saints defeat leaders Vectis at Cowes 6 a side

A great night of 6 a side down at Cowes Enterprise College last night as all 8 teams took to the pitch in cold but actually quite good conditions compared to previous weeks.

There was no movement in the table after last nights results but Realsosobad and Northwood Nobbers closed the gap on Vectis at the top to 2 points after an excellent performance from Ryde Saints saw them win 5-3 against Vectis. This coupled with a 15-2 win for Realsosobad over Expected Toulouse and a 9-1 win for Northwood Nobbers against Pique Blinders saw the top of the table tighten up again. Vectis will be looking to bounce back next week when they come up against Realsosobad in what could be a title decider. Northwood Nobbers are also in with a great chance as they meet Notting Your Mums Forest. The other fixture yesterday saw a great match take place between Notting Your Mumns Forest and AFC Sleaze with the lead exchanging sides until Forest eventually got the winner in a 5-4 victory.

The goalscorer chart is taking shape as Leigh Mckenzie and Nick Vyse boosted their goals tally during big wins for their sides. Mckenzie now with 14 and Vyse with 10 since the feature started a couple of weeks ago.
