Unreal Madrid edged another step closer to their 1st title win last night with a crucial win that keeps them 2 points clear of rivlals Old Guns with just two games to go in the 6 a side season in Cowes. DBS have joined the race and also sit just a couple of points behind the leaders with an oppertunity to turn them over next week. If they do, and Old Guns win again, we could go into the last round of games with all 3 teams still in with a shout. A win for Unreal next week though would as good as see them champions due to their far superior goal difference over Old Guns. Here are the Prem results in full from an other exciting night in Cowes.
PREMIER LEAGUE
Old Guns 4 - 2 St Marys
Pique Blinders 2 - 4 DBS
MillersMayhems 1 - 9 Unreal Madrid
Well played to Billy Chugg for netting a well taken hattrick and to Luke Chessell who stuck away 5 for the league leaders.
It looks like a two team shoot out for the Division One title with Baines on Toast and Robbin Ma Koch separated only by 1 goal at the top of the table. Baines won again last night but the Koch's couldn't manage to, Fill Her Wycombe resisting and coming away with a defiant point to leave the title race wide open. Victor Moses lost but are still an outside chance for promotion and they face both the teams above them in their last two games. Two wins for them and anything is possible. Here are the Division One Scores from week 8.
DIVISION ONE
Hit The Wheel 0 - 2 Baines On Toast
Fill Her Wycombe 3 - 3 Robbin Ma Koch
Diverse Cowboys 4 - 3 Victor Moses Lawn
It was a good night for Aiden Tilbrook despite his teams loss. The striker stuck away a tidy hattrick for Victor Moses and will need to keep up that kind of form if his team are going to end the season strongly.
Well done to everyone involved last night and big thanks to Calum and his team for managing the night. Two games to go before we expand this league and we now have just ONE place available now for the season. Don't miss out on this great opportunity to join one of the most popular leagues on the Island. We restart on 14th February, to make sure you are part of it register now on this link;
