In a thrilling day of football at the Cumberland Arena, all teams except for Clitoris Allsorts were in attendance for the Crewe Sunday 6 aside league. With some great games on display, fans were treated to some fantastic performances from the competing teams.
AFC Crewe started the day off in style with a convincing 5-0 win over Exeter Gently. The game was a one-sided affair, with AFC Crewe dominating the game from start to finish. Their sharp attacking play and solid defense proved to be too much for Exeter Gently to handle.
In another game, Heathfield FC managed to come out on top with a 5-1 win over Choccy Brownies FC. Despite a strong start from Choccy Brownies, Heathfield FC proved to be the better team on the day with a clinical display of finishing.
FC Octagon also recorded a comfortable 3-0 win over STAL. It was a game of few chances, but FC Octagon made the most of their opportunities to secure all two points.
In other news, the Crewe Sunday 6 aside league welcomed a new team this week. Six Offenders will be joining the league and fans can't wait to see what they bring to the table. Additionally, another new team is on the waiting list, signalling the growing interest in the league.
The league organizers would like to remind everyone that the league will still be on this coming Sunday despite it being Easter Sunday. They also welcome more teams and players to sign up and be a part of the action.
