WEEKLY UPDATE FROM THE ASHTON MONDAY LEAGUE 18TH FEB

A good evening on the whole in the Ashton Monday league although Daves Daycare were unable to attend their fixture at short notice due to the unavailability of some of their players. We have spoken to their team manager and he has confirmed that it was a one off ant the team will be back as normal for this weeks fixture.

The league itself saw Arthur Leg remain at the top of the division despite being held to a 1-1 draw by Droylesden Sixes who themselves moved in to second place courtesy of the point gained.

No Stars FC gave the performance of the evening as they defeated Up the Envy 4-2 with a dominate display of 6aside football as they continue to rise up the table.
