11TH AUGUST LEAGUE UPDATE FROM THE ASHTON SUNDAY LEAGUE

A great evening in the Ashton Sunday 6 aside league held at the football club with all teams in attendance and everything running smoothly.

Premier division leaders The Hockley Boys maintained their 2 point lead at the top and extended their 100% start to the season with a fine 3-2 victory over Tring In The Boot. Ox FC remain their nearest challengers as they scraped a narrow 2-1 victory over QUA FC but they are still 2 points behind.

Division one saw Inter Ya Mam move to the top of the division as they came through a tough encounter against Ctrl Alt De Laet by i highly entertaining 4-3 scoreline. Last weeks leaders Delph And Safety FC suffered their first defeat of the season as they were comprehensively beaten 4-1 by Bench FC.
