ASHTON 6 A SIDE LEAGUE NEWS SUNDAY 1ST DECEMBER

All the latest news for the Ashton 6 a side Sunday league direct from Curzon Ashton Football Club.

It was a great night of footballing action in the league with all teams in attendance with the exception of Cool Runnings who once again failed to attend and once again failed to inform anyone of their absence. As a result they will be removed from the league with immediate affect.

Onto the weekly round up and this weeks fixtures sees us approach the half way point in the season and in the Premier league there is just 2 wins separating top all the way down to 7th. Ting in the boot currently sit top of the league and they are just one point ahead of Counterfriet FC. Although CTRL ALT DE LAET are sat in the relegation zone they could jump ahead of four teams with a win next week which shows how close the league is.

In Division one Delph and safety lead the way having only dropped one point so far this season with one draw and 5 wins out of 6. Ballerz FC are just 2 points behind and themselves havent lost yet this season having won 3 and drawn 3.

Congratulations to Counterfreit FC who are this weeks team of the week having toppled league leaders 2-1.
