Half way stage of Ashton 6 a side league

We had an excellent night of 6 a side football at our Ashton Sunday league, as we saw all teams in attendance for their games as expected. With Sunday's results all in, this brings us to the half way stage of the current season, and there is still plenty to play for going into the second half of the campaign. 

Premier Division

Counterfreit FC made it four wins from five to go two points clear at the top of the Premier Division, as they over came a well organised Lord Bendtners Disciples to win 2-0. 

Sex Drugs & Carlton Cole took advantage of The Specially Selected's unexpected draw with Team Chunky, to move above their rivals into second place after a comfortable 5-0 win over strugglers Expected Toulouse.

Division One

Pique Blinders made it five out of five as they maintained their 100% record with a convincing 3-1 win against Real Slow And Bad. They remain three points clear at the top, although both Bench FC and Barely Athletic kept up the chase with 5-0 victories.
