SUNDAY 15TH SEPTEMBER ASHTON 6 A SIDE LEAGUE NEWS

All the latest news for the Ashton 6 a side Sunday league direct from the Curzon Ashton Football Club.

It was a great night of action in the league with the league extending to add a new division and create more spaces for teams to get involved.

We start the round up in the new division with the match up between Droylsden FC and Not got a Kalou. It was a close game that could have gone either way but it was Droylsden Fc who ran out 2-1 winners.

Unfortunately Biff heads failed to attend for their fixture resulting in Ji Sung park the bus receiving a 5-0 win.

On to the Premier league and league leaders the Hockley Boys lost only their second match of the season and in the process blowing the title race wide open as they went down 3-2 to OX FC.

Elsewhere Ting in the boot and Counterfreit FC went toe to toe with COunterfreit coming out on top 2-1. Barely Atheltic and Cool Runnings also picked up the points in their matches.

We end the weeks round up in division one where both Team Chunky and Inter Ya mam were given 5-0 wins while CTRL ALT DE LEAT and Oldmen Atheltic had to fight hard for their wins as they ran out 5-3 and 5-2 winners respectively.
