SUNDAY 17TH MARCH ASHTON 6 A SIDE LEAGUE NEWS

All the latest news for the Ashton 6 a side Sunday league direct from the Curzon Ashton Football Club.

It was another good night in the league as all teams were in attendance with the exception of QUA FC who called up on Sunday to inform us of their absence, they are back as normal next Sunday. Joining the teams already in the league was our newest team Canalside FC who were narrowly beaten 3-2 by Expected Toulouse and this after having a third goal disallowed for a foul throw in. A harsh lesson but one i'm sure they will take on board and learn from. 

The rest of the action in Division one was just as exciting as Cool Running and Delph and Safety played out a 0-0 draw while The Hockley Boys had a good 4-0 win over Pique Blinders.

In the Premier league League leaders Sex Drugs and Carlton Cole once again had a good win this time it was 4-2 against Barely Atheltic.  Counterfriet are pushing them all the way for first with thier 3-1 win over Kammy Dodgers. While elsewhere there was wins for Bench FC and Paraolympians FC who managed a 7-0 win over Team Chunky.
