SUNDAY 31ST MARCH ASHTON 6 A SIDE LEAGUE NEWS

All the latest news for the Ashton 6 a side Sunday league direct from Curzon Ashton Football.

It was a great night in the league we had all teams in attendance with the exception of Canalside Fc who contacted the office to inform us of their absence and we welcomed a new team into the league as Real Ale Madrid played their first game in the league.

Next week sees the final week of the current season and although Sex drugs and carlton Cole have already won the Premier league they will also have a big say in who will finish second. They take on the team currently occupying second place in Counterfriet Fc. Paraolympions FC will be making sure they are able to capitalise on any slip up. At the other end of the table any 2 from 3 teams are looking at being relegated to Division one.

In division one we have a 4 way fight going into the last week of fixtures. Hockley Boys have the biggest task on their hands as they are 2 points a drift but are playing Expected Toulouse who are top and will go above them with a win. They will also need OX FC and Qua Fc to both loose to win the league but what ever happens it is going to be an exciting week of fixtures.
