SUNDAY 8TH SEPTEMBER ASHTON 6 A SIDE LEAGUE NEWS

All the latest news for the Ashton 6 a side Sunday league direct from the Curzon Ashton Football Club.

It was a good night in the league with all teams in attendance as expected with the exception of QUA FC who not only failed to attend but also failed to inform anyone in the office of their absence. This resulted in Counterfreit not getting a game as we couldn't arranged anything for them.

They will receive a 5-0 win in the league and also picking up wins on the day were The Hockley boys who remain top of the table, TIng in the boot who had an impressive 8-0 win and Cool Runnings who rounded off the action in the Premier league.

In Division one there is still nothing other then goal difference to separate both Inter Ya mam and Delph and safety who won 5-0 and 4-0 respectively. CTRL ALT DE LAET also picked up a win on the night beating Sub standard liege 4-1 while Champagne Super rovers and Team Chunky played out a 2-2 draw.

The league is extending and as of next Sunday 15th September there will now be a second Division added. This will create more spaces for the league but spaces will still be limited so don't delay if you are looking to join the league.
