WEEKLY UPDATE FROM THE ASHTON SUNDAY LEAGUE 17TH FEBRUARY

Another good evening in the Ashton Sunday league with all teams in attendance apart from Fitton Hill FC. This was an unusual occurrence for them and we will be contacting them to ensure they are back for next week or they will be removed from the league.

Sex Drugs And Carlton Cole remain unbeaten in the premier division but lost their 100% record as they were held to a 2-2 scoreline by second placed Counterfreit FC in an entertaing encounter which both teams could have won. Bench FC moved off the foot of the league as they picked up a valuable point by holding Paraolypicos to a 2-2 draw. 

QUA FC maintained their 1 point advantage at the top of division one as they defeated Pique Blinders by a convincing 5-0 scoreline. Expected Toulouse and Cool Runnings FC kept in the hunt for the title as both teams picked up victories this week to keep pace with the leaders.
