56 goals fly in during Monday night football in Dereham

Monday night football at Leisure leagues Dereham this week saw 56 goals fly in at Neathred High School. With our games being 40 minutes long the goals just keep on coming with teams utilising the extra 10 minutes we provide across our 5 a side and 6 a side leagues in Norfolk.

There was a thriller on pitch 1 which saw the points shared between Beetley Pumas and Out on Bale with a 3-3 draw followed by a Paris Ganjaman recording a record 15-0 victory for them as they look to mount a serious title challenge this year. Next week will be the last for Oldman Ashmatic as they move over to our Wednesday night league starting on May 26th. 

There was another Murder on Zidanes floor as the high flyers put 8 past Put Matip in, Up the Tics gave their rivals Norfolkandchance with an 8-3 victory and league leaders Crystal Phallus continued their 100% record with an 8-2 victory over Red star bellends.

Chu Papi Monyenyo FC rounded off the night with a solid 4-0 win over Dads bods United to move into the Europa league places in the league.

At the moment very much like the Premier league, there seems to be 2 leagues forming at Dereham with the Top 6 battling for the title and the bottom 6 battling to be the best of the rest, but if we know anything about football its anyone can beat anyone on their day. If the teams in the bottom half can tighten up at the back then we could see some upsets over the course of the season.
