Crystal Phallus won their 2nd consecutive Leisure leagues title last night to become the undisputed Kings of Monday nights in Dereham. Led by captain Scott Luck, CP proved to be worthy of their crown by finishing 3 points above nearest rivals Norfolk and Chance who pushed them all the way with Joshua Haycox securing the golden boot and will be looking to strengthen and to go again with another title challenge next season.
In Division One it was Red Star Bellends who secured the title and promotion ahead of rivals Cant fit my Willian In who also secured promotion to the Premier league following an impressive season. BLM will feel they have just missed out after joining the league late but will have to be considered early favourites for promotion next season after an impressive showing.
Joining Division One next season will be Beetley Pumas and Bobby Dazzlers who find themselves relegated from the Premier league but no doubt Beetley and star man Soren Gauntlett will be looking to bounce back as soon as possible.
It wont be an easy task though with Aaron Kidds Dads bods and Ryan Tullis Only Kruls and horses looking to push for promotion next season.
Lets not forget Old timers who turn up every week full of enthusiasm and secured some good results including holding the impressive BLM to a 3-3 draw with Captain Lee Maddix leading the team this season.
Other highlights from the season include Paris Ganjaman led by the two Darrens, Lawes and Bush being involved in two 3-3 thrillers against Bobby Dazzlers and Get Kebabed with Dean Watts usually amongst the goals. A special mention also goes out to Matthew Grigg and his young Get Kebabed team who secured a 2-1 win over Champions Crystal Phallus to prevent them from going the season unbeaten.
With the new season starting next week we look forward to welcoming some new teams and saying good bye to some old teams.
Congratulations to all Teams and players for a fantastic season and remember if you want your goals tracked then send your scorers to your captain to pass on to the league managers to be in with a chance to win awards next season.
