Last night marked week six of the exciting Plymouth Monday 6-a-side football league, with the Premier League, Division 1, Division 2, Division 3, Division 4, and Division 5 all seeing action.
In the Premier League, The City Boys edged out Pique Blinders FC in a close match ending 2-1. MoLeicesters, on the other hand, reigned supreme over TB7 with a clean 5-0 victory, while Jive Turkeys managed to secure a 3-0 victory against This Is Our Year FC.
Moving down to Division 1, Crouch Potato made headlines by decimating Keith It Lemon with an impressive 12-1 score. The massive scoreline makes them the top scorer in this division.
In Division 2, Saltash Unathletic managed to win over Law Abiding Sigurdssons with a tight 2-1 victory. Friendzone FC dominated over Sladers Arms FC with a 7-0 victory, making them the top scorer for Division 2.
Division 3 saw an exciting match between Eleven Thirty FC and The Balotellitubbies, with the latter securing a 1-0 victory. Trousers Down 11 faced a tough defeat against Ollies Angels, losing 0-4. Bazooka That Viduka barely edged out Real Sosobad, with a final score of 3-2.
Division 4 had AF United dominating over Inter YaBAM with a high scoring 11-0 game, making them the top scorer for the division. Meanwhile, Austin Fc lost to Ball Of Duty with a final score of 2-3.
Finally, in Division 5, BBB FC fell to Shagwell Army with a score of 1-5. Packer Palace also lost to Mr Men And Friends 2-4, while Boi United and Gurnow Mill ended with a 2-2 draw.
These latest results mean that the competition is heating up as we move into the latter half of the season, with each division boasting their top scoring teams.
