In an exciting night of action, week 5 of the Plymouth Monday Football League showcased some thrilling games across all divisions.
In the Premier League, Barely Athletic managed a narrow 1-0 victory over Crouch Potato. The cracker of the night, however, was Jive Turkeys' thumping 9-2 win over ASAF, highlighting their offensive prowess. The division's top scorer belonged to Jive Turkeys, whose fine form was on full display. MoLeicesters also recorded an impressive 5-1 win over Lord Of The Wings.
In Division 1, Eleven Thirty FC outclassed Bazooka That Viduka with a 5-1 victory. Chicken Tikka No Salahd registered a 3-1 win over Kia Picanto FC while Men In Black edged out Saltash Unathletic with a 6-4 win in a high-scoring thriller. The top scorer of Division 1 was a star performer from Eleven Thirty FC.
Over in Division 2, Law Abiding Sigurdssons triumphed over For The Fish FC with a 4-1 win, Lees Lions were outplayed 10-2 by Elbybombers, and The Balotellitubbies handed a 7-0 rout to Manlow’s Mates FC. The top scorer in this division came from Elbybombers.
In Division 3, Ball Of Duty won 2-0 over Friendzone Fc, The Receding Hairlines thrashed I Need A Breather United 6-1, and Shagwell Army emerged victorious over FC Jay with an 8-4 win. The division's top scorer belonged to Shagwell Army.
In Division 4, Gurnow Mill and Boi United played out a tense 2-2 draw while Real Sosobad blanked Menheniot Rangers 4-0. The division top scorer was from Real Sosobad side.
Lastly, in Division 5, AF United recorded an impressive 6-1 win over Austin Fc, BBB FC edged past Shambles FC 2-1, and Ajax Trees Down beat Packer Palace 3-1. The standout performer and the top scorer in this division was a player from AF United.
