In Sports News, yesterday marked the third week of Plymouth Monday's 6 a side Football League, where teams from across the city battled it out in high-octane matches for the top spot in their respective divisions.

In the Premier League division, Saltash Unathletic trounced Lord Of The Wings with a resounding 5-0 victory. The Eleventh Thirty FC also claimed a dominant 5-1 win over Crouch Potato, while MoLeicesters managed to pull ahead of Barely Athletic with a 3-1 scoreline.

The Division 1 matches saw Paraolympiacos FC narrowly overcome Chicken Tikka No Salahd in a thrilling 3-2 match. The Jive Turkeys established their supremacy over Elbybombers, effortlessly winning the game 5-1.

Division 2 saw some of the most commanding performances of the day. The Titans were overwhelmed by the all-conquering For The Fish FC, who scored a stunning 10-0 victory. Phantom Of The Chopra faced a heavy 11-2 defeat by The Receding Hairlines, while Not In Ur Mums Forrest FC went down 5-2 against Law Abiding Sigurdssons.

The Division 3 matches were equally intense. Real Sosobad and Ball Of Duty played out a tense 1-1 draw, while Champagne SuperRovers narrowly defeated Trousers Down 11 by 2-1. I Need A Breather United enjoyed a sizeable 6-0 victory over Footasylums Finest.

In Division 4, Schedule 5s triumphed over Friendzone Fc 4-1 and FC Jay fell to Gurnow Mill 2-1. Boi United unfortunately couldn't hold up against BBB FC, losing 3-1.

Lastly, in Division 5, Mr Men And Friends and AF United tied at 1-1, Menheniot Rangers were edged out 3-2 by Packer Palace and Austin FC celebrated a 5-2 win over ASAF.
