Following an exhilarating second week of the Plymouth Monday 6-a-side football league, football enthusiasts have been left thrilled with the high-octane performances displayed across various divisions.
In the Premier League division, Crouch Potato demonstrated an electrifying performance, defeating Jive Turkeys 3-0, while Epsteins Landlord and Not In Ur Mums Forrest FC battled it out for a 2-2 draw. However, it was The Receding Hairlines that left a strong impression, securing a 4-1 victory over Silly Pumas.
Division 1 saw a close encounter between Cream Alexandra and Law Abiding Sigurdssons, with the former emerging as winners by 4-3. Gamballers triumphed over Roll The Dyche 2-0, and Slug FC narrowly defeated Spackers Fc 1-0.
In Division 2, a titanic clash between I Need A Breather United and Paraolympiacos Fc ended with a 5-3 win for Paraolympiacos Fc. Royal Bale defeated Inter Ya Nan 3-0, while Whats Occuring triumphed over Saltash Unathletic 4-1.
Moving on to Division 3, AF United and BBB FC battled it out to a 1-1 draw. Ball Of Duty managed to edge past Clive 3-2, but it was FC Brian Munich who stole the show with a 6-2 win over Book Ake.
In Division 4, Austin Fc and Saka Potatoes showcased their dominance with 7-4 and 6-2 victories over HTG FC and Jerry Can FC respectively. But Trousers Down 11 managed to secure a narrow 3-2 win against Mr Men And Friends.
Finally, in Division 5, Gurnow Mill, Evan-essence Fc, and Sevilla Depression emerged as the top scorers, defeating Boi United, Packer Palace, and The Titans 7-0, 3-0, and 6-0 respectively.
